BEUERMAN (Earl). Big brothers
Phillip and Timothy are thrilled to
announce the addition of a cowgirl to
the Beuerman ranch. Our family
welcomed Aubrey Georgina with
much love on May 21, 2012 at 12:25
p.m., weighing 9 lbs. Blessed
parents are Becky and Chris. Excited
grandparents are Gary and Beth Earl
and Roy and Mary Beuerman.
Aubrey is also lucky to have aunts,
uncles and cousins ready to spoil her
with kisses. We would like to extend
a huge thank you to Dr. Hancock for
the excellent prenatal care for a third
time around. Becky and Aubrey are
so very grateful to Dr. Nascu and the
wonderful nurses at SGH for the
amazing care before and after the
delivery, especially Gloria, Liz,
Cathy and Lisa. Every kind word
and good thought from all our family
and friends is much appreciated.

CARTER. Being handicapped I
seldom go to parties or dances. I
can’t skate, even walking very far is
hard for me. But what I do have is
my church family, great neighbours
and friends, the love of my family
and each year, “The Special
Olympics Torch Run”. For one day
in the spring I get to spend the whole
day with other people like myself
and my OPP friends. We raise
money so special needs athletes can
afford to participate in the “Special
Olympics”. I want to thank my
friends, neighbours, family and
church family for your many years
of donations and support. Over the
years with your help I have raised
well over $17,000. On June 17 in
London, I’m getting “Award of
Honour” for the amount I have
raised for the Torch Run. I would
also like to thank Brenda Carey who
got me started participating in the
Torch Run and to Russ Nesbitt who
has made sure I get to and from the
run each year. Russ and fellow
officers make this a special day for
all. Thank you – Love, Kendra
Carter. 24-1p

MARSHALL. The family of the late
Elvey Marshall, thanks the medical
staff for their care of Elvey. Thanks
to Pastor Steve Hildebrand for a
caring true-to-life account of a
wonderful man. Thanks for the years
of care from “Elvey’s Girls”. You all
made his life a little more bearable.
Special thanks to friends and all
those who took the time out of their
busy lives to drop by with kind
words, food, hugs and helping
hands. Thanks to McGlynn Funeral
Home for the care and compassion
bestowed upon our families. Thanks
again to all our family for your
support and love in your time of
grieving as well. Special thanks to a
loving husband, father and
grandfather who will never be
forgotten and will always be in our
hearts. Thanks for being our
everything. – The Marshall family.
PEARSON. My heartfelt thanks to

wishes. Thank you to the UCW for

WHEELER. I would like to thank
the Brussels community for their
incredible generosity at my bridal
shower at the Melville Presbyterian
Church on Friday evening, June 8. I
was overwhelmed by the number of
beautiful gifts given at the shower
and delivered to my parents’ home. It
was wonderful to see so many family
members, church members and
friends throughout the weekend. A
