in the absence of Rev. Gary Clark
who was preaching at Dungannon-

Nancy drew everyone’s attention
to the announcements printed in the
bulletin. Special mention was that
there will be no service at Blyth

everyone is invited to Camp

The call to worship, “Come All
You People: was sung followed by
the prayer of approach. The
children were asked to come to the
front for their story time. Nancy
told the children of her trip to
Australia as an exchange teacher
that her and her family had been on.
They saw many things and she had
brought home a bagful of puppets
of the animals natural to Australia.
They included a koala, Tasmania
devil, platypus and many others.
She told the children that God looks
after all different kinds of animals
and He also looks after all of us
even though we are very different.
They said a prayer along with the
congregation. The children went
downstairs for their time of

I’m sure all the participants of
track and field on Thursday are
feeling the effects of their efforts.
Records were broken and I’m sure
some people were pushed to their
physical limits, but everyone had a
great time and the day was deemed a
success.
A huge thank you to Mrs. Cronin
who gave her time to give out
ribbons and keep score. Friday was
the celebration tea day. Many came
in and shared their stories and
history at Blyth Public School over
tea and cake.
The Grade 8 students are really
starting to get excited for Camp
Celtic, which they will be heading to
on Monday morning. They’ve
packed their bags and are looking
forward to an action-packed trip.

The senior kindergarten students
have been working on finishing their
number story booklets and solving
them using four strategies: fingers,
picture, number line and ten frame.
They have solved complicated math
addition problems where they have
to add twice. They have been
concentrating on the letters W, H and
Y. Their bean seeds are growing and
they measure and water them daily.
The junior kindergarten students
have been learning all about the
letter G. They have been reviewing
our 2D shapes and playing their
favourite game: colour and shape
bingo.
They have been talking about
