Ed. Walker and Harold Kake, of Wroxeter, visited with Mr. -and Mrs. Geo. Walker, of Ste­ phen Thursday of last week. The Y. P. S. of Caven Presbyter­ ian church •kill present a candle lighting service in the church next Sunday evening at 7 p.m. Mrs. Wm. Sweitzer was admitted to St. Joseph’s Hospital Tuesday Where she will undergo treatments. Her many friends will (hope for ■her complete recovery. Mr. and Mrs, A. E. Andrews, of Pointex, Sask., have arrived in Exeter and will spend the winter with Mrs. Andrew’s brother and sister, Mr. E. Treble and Miss Effie Treble. "Mrs. Frank Wood returned Monday after an illness of four weeks in Victoria Hospital follow­ ing an operation. Her many friends will be pleased to see her around again soon. Mrs. Chris Dinney, who recently underwent an operation in St., Joseph’s Hospital, was brought home in R. C. Dinney’s ambulance and is recuperating, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm, Wareing. Mr. and Mrs. Art Amy spent a few days last w$ek visiting with the former's mother . and other relatives in Hamilton. MisS Doro­ thy Amy, of London, spent thq week-end in town, with her parents. Mr. Frank , Brierley returned to his home in Exeter Sunday after­ noon" after being ill in Victoria Hospital, London, for two weeks following an operation. His many friends will hope to see him out again soon. Mr. and Mrs. Arto Delve have returned to Exetex* after spending a few days visiting in Forest.
