The service was conducted by the Bev. G. W. H. Medley, pastor, assisted by Bev. W. X H. Smyth of St, Paul’s United Church, and Bev, F. Lewin of St, fames Anglican Church. The anniversary service of the Centralia Sunday School was held in the*church on Sunday morning. Special music was provided by the choir with Miss Mountain as solo ist. The stpry of the Good Samari tan with Flannelgraph illustration was .given by Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Skinner. For the remainder of the service the broadcast from Wing ham was heard when the Modera tor of the United Church was addressing the churches of the Huron - Presbytery. Bullock and Mrs. Isaac Gower and grandson, Donovan Brunzlow, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Milt-on Gower at Woodstock. Served as Constable For more than six years he ser ved as constable on the London Police force, In 1920 he and the late Neil McPhee opened a funeral and furniture establishment in Parkhill, Later he purchased the business of C. W. Browne and the firm operated under the name of M, Box and iSon. For several years he also operated a poal and lum ber business. •’ He was councillor, reeve and mayor of Parkhill over many years It ,was while serving his term as mayor that he was forced to resign public office due to ill health. ‘ He was a past master ;of the Doric Lodge A. F. and A. M., past noble grand of Ivy Lodge, No. 90, I.O.O.F., .and a member of the L.O.L. 219 For many years he was ardently interested in lawn bowl ing until failing health forced him to resign this association. Besides his widow, the late Mr, Box is survived by one son, Law rence, of Parkhill; two daughters, Mrs. L. W. Poore (Lois), of Park hill and Mrs. D. F. Pedlar (Doro thy), of London, .There are also seven grandchildren surviving and one sister, Mrs. C. Randall, of London. Honorary pallbearers were mem bers of the Funeral Association, Messrs, T. Stephenson and Jack Stephenson, of Aisa Craig; Jack Murdy, of Lucan, and .Russell Mc Arthur, of London. Active pallbearers were _ William March, Roy Fraser, William Elliot Roy Hutchinson, George A- Ron son and E. J. Robinson, all Parkhill. Rudolf Koessel died November 25 111946, in Clemens, Mich. He was born in !St. Louis, Mo., May 16, 1897, and graduated from Concordia Semin ary, St. Louis, in .19-22, After grad uation he served parishes of the Lutheran Church in the Parry Sound .district and in Michigan. Funeral services were held in Mount Clemens, on Wednesday afternoon. On Thursday, the body was brought to Dashwood for interment. The service ,was con ducted in Zion Lutheran Church by the pastor, iRev. Louis F. Hige- nell, assisted by Bev. H._H. Erd-: man, ‘ - - sky, president district of the spoke. Rev.
