School at 10.15 a.m.' and service at <1,1.15 a.m. Celebrate Wedding Anniversary A very enjoyable evening was spent at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. 0. Allen, Farquhar, on Fri­ day last when their entire family numbering 29, gathered to honor them on the occasion of their for­ tieth wedding anniversary. A buffet luncheon was served in the dining room ‘ decorated with centred with a niversary cake. Wilfred Allen, London, gave Clifford Allen presented them with a tri-light on behalf of those pres­ ent. Both Mr. and Mrs. Allen ex­ pressed their thanks very nicely. They were also the recipients of other gifts and cards. The remain­ der of the evening was spent in playing games. All returned to their homes, wishing theii’ parents many, many more happy anniver­ saries.
