Dr. Hewitt Passes
Mr. and Mrs. G. J. Dow and Gil
bert and Mrs. Rod Ellis were at
Aurora Wednesday attending the
funeral of their brother-in-law, Dr.
S. R. D. Hewitt, who died suddenly
at his home in Aurora on Thanks
giving Day. Dr. and Mrs. Hewitt
had Spent Thanksgiving visiting in
Woodstock and shortly after their

away. Dr. Hewitt served With the
medical corps during the first Great

nouncer over CFRB., who recently
left for England, in writing to his
parents stated that he would be
broadcasting the B.B.C, News Reel
on the evening of Tuesday, October
22nd. The newsreel is heard in
Canada between 11 and 12 o’clock
in the evening. It is also heard in
the U.S. and South America. No
doubt many of his friends here will
be glad to hear his voice once
again over the air. He has dropped
the name Cyril for Michael.
