discouraged at, what they thought,
was a smaller donation than they had
hoped for. I was able to point out
that families are being approached,
not only at businesses, but at
school, churches, services clubs, etc.
If one factors in all these other giv-
ings, people are most generous.
When we put all these donations
from the stores together, we
had an enormous amount of
food.
But the need goes on. In the first
two weeks of December, we had
almost 90 families come through the
Food Share on two Wednesday
mornings.
The past two years we have
noticed our donations drop off over
the summer months, as people are
away – school are closed, etc. result-
ing in us spending a lot of our
resources to keep our shelves fully
stocked.
Once again a big thank you from
the North Huron Community Food
Share for your very generous dona-
tions this past year and wishing each
and everyone a very happy and pros-
perous 2012.
