Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hamilton, of London, visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ross Hern. Mrs. Seth Brown, of Seaforth, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Mel- Ville Hern for a few days dur­ ing the week. Mrs. Brown also called, on friends and relatives in the community. Mr. Harry Hern has been a patient in St. Joseph’s Hospital. London, during the week, fol­ lowing a bone removal in his nasal passage. His many friends hope to see him out soon. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bailey and family, of Winchelsea, visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Nor­ man Brock. They returned by way of Montana and other states down to Detroit and Pt. Huron making in all five thousand miles in four weeks. During the four weeks it was not until they were nearly home that they encountered any rain and during the entire trip they failed to see a accident.
