Gene Krupa will bring his band and of course his famous drums, to the Canadian National Exhibition this year. Tommy Dorsey’s famous band will also be there. SAINTSBURY * The first Davis reunion was held at Springbank Park on Saturday, August 21 when some eiglity-five descendants of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Davis gathered to renew acquaintances Mr. and Mrs. Davis left Ireland with eight children and settled on crown land on the fourth concession of Biddulph around one hundred years ago. Rela­ tives were present from Toron­ to, Midland, Port Huron, Wyoni Ing, Watford, Aylmer, London, Lucan, Winchelsea, Delaware and Centralia. After a picnic dinner the election of officers took place which resulted as follows; Hon. President, Austin D, Hodgins; President, Heber Davis; vice-pres., Edgar Smyth; sec., Alice Mains; sports, Mr. and Mrs. A. Alexander and Mr. and Mrs. E. McKinley; grounds, Gordon Davis. The date is the third Saturday in August, Mr. and Mrs. D. Maguire and Mr. and Mrs. H. Latta visited over the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. E. Atkinson. Mrs. H.
