After the gifts were opened and shown to all Donna thanked them hearti­ ly. Games were played after which a dainty lunch was served. Harris Hostess to Th ames Roa d Lad ies The regular monthly meeting of ,the W.M.S. and W.A. met at the home of Mrs Leonard Har­ ris on Wednesday evening of last week with a good atten­ dance. Mrs. Wm. Elford was in charge of the meeting. The de­ votional exercises were taken from the Missionary Monthly. Roll call was answered with “Something I remember about my grandmother’’. Business was discussed. Good Cheer report was given. Mrs. S. Coward gave a reading on .Christian Steward­ ship followed by a temperance reading by Mrs. E. Pym; read­ ing by Mrs. R. Miller: instru­ mental by Mrs. N. Squire and reading by Mrs. Elford. It was decided to cancel the regular August meeting. Each group was to make a quilt and these to be quilted in the church basement by the ladies sometime in Au­ gust. Group 3 is to provide a ten cent tea at this meeting. For further details regarding this quilting you are asked to contact your group leader for full particulars. Birthday money is to given for the August, col­ lection. Hymn 509 was sung and the meeting was brought to a close with the benediction by Mrs. Elf ord. A delicious ten cent lunch was served by Group 2 and a social time spent over the coffee cups.
