Carl Wein, on the mound for Dash­ wood, was in fine form, giving up only three hits and. fanning fourteen batters. He was also best at the plate, slamming out two doubles and. three singles in five trips. Bill O’Brien and Carl Heideman tossed for Zur­ ich allowing thirteen hits and striking out thirteen batters.
