Elliot, 'who passed away on Friday. ■Mrs. Delight Gordon, after spending a couple of weeks in Toronto has returned to the home of Mr. and Mrs, T. O, Southeott. Sunday visitors with Mrs. A. E. Delbridge were Mr. and Mrs, Robt. Hamilton, of London, and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Brooks and little daughters, of Chat­ ham. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Triebner and Doreen and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Triebner were in Lon­ don Wednesday attending the funeral of the late Mrs. Harry Woods. ■Mr. Frank Taylor, auctioneer was taken ill with an acute at­ tack of appendicitis Friday eve­ ning of last week and early Saturday morning he was rush­ ed to Victoria Hospital, London for an operation. He is getting along nicely. Mr. and Mrs. R, L. Beavers are in Toronto this week where Reg is attending the Hardware convention, Week-end visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Triebner were Mr, and Mrs. L. FRIDAY, SATURDAY February 13 and 14 Two Features & Taken To Hospital Mr. Jack Pryde was taken ill Thursday of last week and was1 taken to Victoria Hospital in London where he has since been under observation and treatment as the doctors have endeavored to diagnose his condition. X-rays have been taken. Jack is a son of Mr, Thomas Pryde, the Pro­ gressive Conservative candidate in the Huron by-election and had been looking after the bus­ iness while his father was elec­ tioneering. His many friends will wish for him a speedy re­ covery. Will Visit Exeter I.O.O.F. A degree team of the I.O.O.F. from Stratford will visit the Exeter lodge Tuesday evening of next week and will exemplify the third degree on about 25 candidates. Exeter lodge will have 12 candidates and the re­ mainder will be made up from the Brucefield, Clinton and Seaforth lodges. The degree will be put on in the town hall.
