After the business part of the meeting the ladies served lunch. Mrs. Roland Neil' and Gerald spent last week with her broth­ er, Mr. and Mrs, Baker, of St. Thomas. , Miss. Joyce Kuhn, of Crediton spent the week-end with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher -Gower. Mr. Hilton Banting is spend­ ing some time with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fenton. Mr. and Ml’s. Nelson Hodgins, of Parkhill, spent Sunday last with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Picker­ ing, Mr. and Mrs. Wes Watson, Eddie and Bonnie spent Thurs­ day evening last with Mr. and Mrs, Jack Hodgson. Mr. Neil McRann, of R.R. No. 1, Clandeboye, has been engaged as secretary-treasurer of the Mc­ Gillivray township public School Area to succeed Mr. Wm, Pat­ terson, of Lieury. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Steeper, Harvey and Leslie spent Sunday last with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Lewjs, Mr, and Mrs. Marwood Prest. and children spent Tuesday eve­ ning with Hodgson. -Mr. and family, of SHIPKA Sunday, February 8th, will be communion service at the Unit­ ed church. Roll call and minutes were read by Miss Kathleen Morley. A reading was given by Mrs. Ar­ thur Hodgson entitled “Robert Burns” followed by the topic “Wings of the Spirit” by Mrs. Wes Watson. The 1st vice-president of the W.A. Mrs. Jack Trevethick, took the chair. Scripture “The Beati­ tudes” was read in unison. It was decided that Group 2 will be resonsible for the World Day of Prayer.
