The W.M.S. and W.A.

evening last with a small atten
dance due to the roads. Group 1
with Mrs. Jack Hodgson as con
venor. led the meeting with the
use of hymn 153 after which
Psalm 23 was read in unison.
The business was taken by the
president, Mrs. Martin Watson.
Roll call and minutes were read
by Miss Kathleen Morley. A
reading was given by Mrs. Ar
thur Hodgson entitled “Robert
Burns” followed by the topic
“Wings of the Spirit” by Mrs.
Wes Watson.
The 1st vice-president of the
W.A. Mrs. Jack Trevethick, took
the chair. Scripture “The Beati
tudes” was read in unison. It
was decided that Group 2 will
be resonsible for the World Day
of Prayer. Hymn 3 82 was sung
and the meeting closed by re
peating the Mizpah Benediction.

Under the Drew Government

doubled, and new capital grant commitments totaling
$75,000 have been made, of which a substantial part
has already been paid.
