Oes- treicher and Mrs. Sylvester Wuerth are Borry to learn they are ill at their homes here and trust they will soon be improv­ ed. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hey and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Gaiser spent the week-end in Detroit. Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Crawford, of Exeter, and Mr. Mlllheuson, of Hanover, visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Young. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Zwicker spent a few days last week in Toronto. Messrs. Ed. Schenk and Glen Wuerth, of London, spent the week-end at their respective homes. Mr. and Mrs, Clarence Fahrn- er and family spent Sunday in Zurich with Mrs. Fahruer's mother who is ill at the home of her daughter there, Mr. and Mrs. Ward Fritz and daughter, of Zurich, visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mvb. H. K. 'Eilber. We are glad to report that Mr. Herbert Mitchell returned to his home on Sunday from St. Joseph’s Hospital where he underwent an operation three weeks ago. Mr, J. E. Mission Band The Mission Band held their January meeting on Wednesday evening -of last week at the home of -Mr. and Mrs. John Wade. The meeting opened with the hymn “My Faith Looks up to Thee” followed by repeating the .Lord’s Prayex’ in unison. The scripture lesson was read by Harvey Ratz, and a poem by Terry Wade. The hymn “Won­ derful Words of Life” was then sung. A Missionary reading was given by Wallace QPhaff. Mrs. Ray Morlock- then agve a chap­ ter of the new study book “Around the World with the Bible”, Donald Finkbeiuer fav­ ored with a flute instrumental. The Stewardship was given by ■Mrs. Ross Krueger. The roll call was answered and business discussed. The meeting closed with hymn “Stand Up for Jes­ us”. Refreshments were served by the hostess and committee in charge. Master Billy Armstrong re­ turned home from the hospital on Wednesday and is recuperat­ ing very well after his operatioxi Master Ronald Parrish, London, is spending a few with his grandparents, Mr. Mrs, Harry Sparling. The Young People’s Class held a skating party at the Elimville rink on Friday evening with a large crowd attending, Lunch consisting of hot dogs, coffee and cookies was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Johns. Mr. and Mrs. Eric Carscadden and Jimmy, of Exeter, visited on iSunday with Mr. an£ Mrs. Garnet Miners. All the young people of Elim­ ville are invited to a skating pasty on Friday evening at the Elimville rink. Lunch to be served after in the church basement. Girls are to bring sandwiches and boys bring cook­ ies. Choir practice will be held at eight o’clock on Friday eve­ ning.
