Margison and Bobby, of London, spent the week­ end with 'Mrs. Margison’s mother, Mrs. Ed. Johns. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Bosnell, of Port Hope, .visited with Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Johns and Mr. and •Mrs. Wesley Neil recently. Mr. and Mrs, V. L. Reulston, Gail and Karen, of Simcoe, spent the week-end with Mrs, G. F. Roul- ston and Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Howald. Lieut. Margaret I. Wethey Army Nurse Corps, U.S.A., retired, has arrived from East Orange, N.J. for an indeterminate stay with her father, Mr. E. J. Wethey. Mr. Geo. Kenny, of London, is visiting with ‘Mr, and Mrs. K. G. Hockey and Mr. and Mrs. John Kemp, of Toronto, were visitors with them ovei' the week-end. Mr. Preston Dearing and Gerald are in Toronto this week with fourteen of their famous flock of Dorset Horn sheep. They have been carrying off the prizes from ,the local fairs with their flock and now meet their keenest opposition at the Royal. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Heaman, of Virden, Man., are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Baker and other relatives. Mr. Peter A. 'Fraser, a student at the University of Western Ont­ ario, spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. Fraser. A committee United church and Mrs. Arthur from the James St, with their minister, Rev. H. J. Snell were at Listowel Friday evening last inspecting the lighting system of the Listowel United church together with the hearing aids installed in several of the pews. A new lighting system and the installation of hearing aids are under consideration by the of­ ficials of James Street. Items of Social and Personal Interest ... Miss Leila Bilyea, of Toronto, spent the week with Mrs. Garnet McFalls, of Usborne. Mrs, (Rev.) C. ’ L. Langford spent last week with Miss Shirley Langford and friends in Toronto. Mrs. J, Parsons has returned home after visiting in London. Dr. A. J. and Mrs, McKinnon, of Richmond Hill, spent the week­ end with .the latter’s mother, Mrs. R. H. Russell, SO BAZAAR and TEA sponsored by the Women’s Association of the United Church in Crediton, will be held in the Sunday School rooms of the church on Satur­ day afternoon Nov. 29th, com­ mencing at 3 p.m. The several booths will display home bak­ ing, farm produce, aprons, fan­ cy work and quilts, and a fish pond, 20:27 of Stratford, were the guests Mrs. R. H. Russell on Sunday. Mr. and 'Mrs. H. A. Keddy, Pontiac, Mich., and ,Mrs. W. Keddy and duaghter Beulah, Fenton, Mich,, visited over the week-end with Miss Nettie Keddy. Mr. R. B. Williams has purchas­ ed from Mrs. Lawrence Dunn, the woodworking shop on John street operated by .her late busband.
