Mrs. Sturdy, of Dashwood, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Geiger and son Arnold, of Pigeon Mich., spent the week-end at .the home of Mr. Jos eph Carruthers, Seaforth Grant for Rinks Seaforth town council .have- granted the Seaforth branch of the Canadian Legion $300 towards open air skating rinks for children. The council also recommended the purchase of a new fire truck and pumper and a committee was in structed to obtain prices.
