W. and Mrs. Turkey enjoyed a few days last week on a motor trip up the Blue Water Highway staying at Owen Sound and Meaford, They are spending this -week at Grand Bend. Miss Marguerite Vincent of Lon­ don, is the guest of Miss Stella Southcott at Grand Bend. Mrs. Pinder and daughter, Audrey, of Montreal, visited with Miss South­ cott for a few days last week. Mr. and Mrs, Enos Cudmore, of Sedro Woolley, Washington are vis­ iting with Mr. and Mrs. William Fraser for a few days. Mr. Cudmore is a brother of Mrs. Fraser and it has been some 26 years since have seen each other. Mr. and Mrs. John Kuntz two children, of Windsor, Mr. Mrs. Austin Bickell and Dorothy Anne, of London, and Master Thos. McDonald, of Detroit, Mich., were visitors with Mr. Win. Kuntz and Dorothy during the past week. they and and Miss Patricia Kerslake is visiting with her sister in London this week. Mrs. John Head, of London, vis­ ited for a few days at the home of Mr. Win. Hatter. Mrs. Harry Lyon, of Londesboro, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. A. Kerslake. this week. Misses Eilene and Ethelene Johns spent last week holidaying in Muskoka and Toronto. Miss Marion Lee LeRoux, of Syl­ vania, Ohio, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Taylor this week. Mrs. Andrew Forrester and son, Drew, of Hamilton, were week-end visitors of Mr. and Mrs. F, Forres­ ter. Mrs. Chas. Box and Mrs. Frank Taylor and Jeanette visited in De­ troit last week. They also spent several days in Toledo, Holland, Sylvania and Berky, Ohio. Mr. Taylor spent the week-end in De­ troit returning home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. James Stanley, who have been living in Winnipeg, have sold their houses there and arc vis­ iting in Halifax, Brantford, Lon­ don aud other towns. They are planning on locating- down east. Mrs. Stanley is a former Exeter girl, Ollie McLaughlin, and visited one day last week with their aunt and uncle. Mr. and Mrs. M. Amy. The church was decorated with white gladioli and ferns under candle­ light. Two solos were rendered by Miss Edna Mercury, of London. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor-length gown of brocaded satin with Nylon net yoke and slight bustle effects at the hips. A white feather head­ dress held her full length veil extended over the train of her skirt. She carried a white Bible topped with orchids. Miss Hazel Kerslake in pink bro­ caded silk was maid of honor and •the bridesmaids were Miss Louis McGuire in blue brocaded silk, and Miss Jean Whiting, Exeter, sister of the bride, in green brocaded silk. They wore matching headdresses with waist length streamers and carried colonial bouquets of gladi- Groomsman was Ted Hamilton, brothei- of the groom, and Peter Kings and Errol Raymond, Toronto, were ushers. For her daughter’s wedding Mrs. Whiting wore powder blue with black accessories. Mrs. Hamilton, mother of the groom; wore pearl grey crepe with black accessories, The reception was held at Lynn Lodge. Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton left for a honeymoon at Muskoka and later at the Hamilton’s summer home at Bayfield. The bride wore a chocolate brown gabardine suit with rose accessories.
