Powe oc­ curred on iFi’iday, July 4th, with interment in St. James cemetery, Clandeboye, from Murdy’s Funeral Home, Lucan, ralia, was in maiden name Armitage. She dulph Township and was the young­ est and last survivor of a family of twelve children. She was laid to rest on Sunday, her 78th birthday. As long as health permitted she lived a ibusy and useful life, ever ready to lend a helping hand when­ ever needed. For several years she and her husband lived in Exeter where he predeceased her in 1926. Since that time she has lived with her son, Herman, in Centralia, and was a member of Centralia United Church. Hann, newly appointed minister of the Crediton United charge, was held on Thursday evening of last week. Rev. Weir, of Centralia, presided and Rev. R. A. Brook, of Hensall, addressed the minister. Following the service a social time was en­ joyed in the Sunday School rooms and lunch provided.
