Gingrich-Perkins A quiet wedding was solemnized at the Pentecostal parsonage on Saturday, June 28th, when Miss Kathleen Elizabeth Perkins, only daughter of ‘Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Perkins, was united in marriage to Mr. Gleason Gingrich, of Elmira, by the pastor, H. Kendrick. The bride was dressed in a costume of white Jersey with hat to match and carried a bouquet of American Beauty roses. She wore a string of pearls, the gift of the groom. The bridesmaid, Miss Freda (Edwards, of Hamilton, wore a blue sheer dress with hat to ’ match and a gold brooch. She carried a bouquet of American Beauty roses. Death of Mrs. Edward French Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Knowles, wife of Edward French, passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday, June 26th, in her 80th year. Mrs. French was a daughter of the late Robert Knowles and his wife. Elizabeth Dawson, and was born on a farm on the 10th Con­ cession of Blanshard. Twp, At an early age she moved with her par­ ents to Usborne Twp. where she attended Zion school. After a few years the family moved, to a farm at Motherwell where she finished public school. About 1891 she went to La Moure, North Dakota, and in April 1901, she was married to Ed­ ward French. They took up farm­ ing at La Moure until 1817 when.' Mr. French bought the Millson farm at Whalen. The family moved east and have resided here ever since. Mrs. French was of a nature, mild mannered and devoted mother to her where she will be greatly in the home.
