Licko Brothei-s are heaviest losers in the area. Four acres of recently seeded onions were blown away along with four inches of top soil. The soil blew like a cloud of smoke over the en- tire district. A survey of the dam­ age revealed near-by ditches almost filled with the rich highly fertilised soil worth $25<0’ to $300 an acre. Some -district onion ’ growers are . preparing to plant a third time due to previous blow-outs The Late Mrs. Joslin Harding Mrs. Joslin Harding, of Exeter, died Monday in Victoria Hospital London, after an illness of about three weeks with a week in hospit­ al. Hex* maiden name was Mary Cornish and she was in her 73rd year. Mt. Hardng prereceased her in 1932. Surviving are 3 daughters Mrs. Arthur Ford, of Stephen; Mrs Arthur Rundle and Mite. Franklin Skinner, of Usborne; also two brothers, John Cornish, of Thames- ford and Win., of Clandeboye, The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 12,30 p.m. D.S.T. from hei' late residence, Main St. with interment in the Exeter cemetery.
