curling bonspiel while visiting in
Belmore with Mr. and Mrs. Nelson
Hunkin for a couple of days last
week. B. W. was on a Belmore rink
that carried off fourth -prize. The
reeve is now a curling enthusiast
and thinks Exetei’ might well ta-ke
up the sport.

The Girl .Guides met at the Le
gion rooms at 7 o’clock last Thurs
day and instead of their regular
meeting, joined the Scouts and
Cubs at the arena to spend the
evening playing "various games. Mr.
Sturgis conducted a sing-song
which was enjoyed by everyone.
Plans were completed for the skat
ing party which was to be held on
Friday night from 7.3'0 to 8.30,
after which the Guides, Scouts and
Cubs would meet at Riverview
Park for games and lunch. Every
one enjoyed themselves to the
greatest extent.
