We invite our readers to nuike use of this column. my had you the To the Editor, Times-Advocate. Exeter, Dear Sir, Enclosed find $2/00 for renewal of my subscription also 25 cents to pay for the notice you inserted with reference to the loss of dog. We found that our dog been shot. I was wondering if would insert a few lines in paper with reference to the hunt ers shooting farmer's dogs. Our dogs are often the only hired help we have. In the summer they save us as much as a mile or more walk for the cows and while the hunters may rid the country of the rabbit pest, the dogs do their share in keeping down the rats and the mice in the fields. They are also a source of revenue to the township council. ,No thief will willingly molest a farmer who keeps a good, lively watch-dog. Our dog was all that and some irresponsible man or boy just ,to be shooting at some thing, derived us of his services. We have heard the same kind warning in the some poor dog’s bring back our own dear doggie, though. Hoping this is not asking too of other cases of and I thought a paper might save life. It will never much. Yours very truly, James Airth, R. R. 3, Exeter.
