Murray is taking a course in forestry at Toronto University. Donald Traquair, Helen Snell, Marion Cowen and Laurene Zur- brigg, of Western University, Lon­ don, were home for the vacation. Mr. Carl Storms, of Port Dover, is spending his Christmas holidays with Jim 'Cann. Mr. Bruce Finlay, of Goderich, visited on Monday with them. Pte. W. J. Elliott. R.C.O.C., of Dawson, Yukon Territory, now a patient at Crumlin Military Hospit­ al. is visiting at the home of Dr. E. S. Steiner. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Wright left Christmas Day for Detroit where they joined Mr. and Mrs. Nicholson and motored to Florida to spend a couple of weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Taylor, of London, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Hector Taylor for New Year’s. They spent Christmas with Mrs. Taylor's parents in Windsor, N.S. Holiday visitors at the home of W. C. Pearce were Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Pearce, Brantford, and iL.Cpl. W. E. Pearce and Miss E. Marier. London, and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Gaiser and children, Crediton. Mr. L. J. Bender, who recently purchased the residence of Ralph Willis on Carling street, has moved to town from Toronto. Mr. Bender is a former resident of Dashwood. Mrs. N._ Hannigan was in London Monday attending the funeral of her sister-in-law, Mi’s. E, Cornish. Her husband, Ewart Cornish re­ turned from overseas last July after serving four and a half years in Italy and 'Sicily. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fraser were in London Saturday to meet their son Pte. W. Allan Fraser who ar­ rived home that afternoon from overseas. He sailed on the Queen Elizabeth and landed at New York. Thos. Penhale, of Albert College, Eelleville, is spending the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Penhale. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Wright and Marion Penhale, of Strathroy, were here for the holi­ day.
