' ~ ” Fractures Arm Norman Kleinfeldt, while work­ ing at the Centralia airport had the misfortune to fall from a stool fracturing his right arm at the wrist. The accident happened on Saturday last. Coming Home A cablegram has been received in Exeter from Pte. W. Allan Fras­ er now in England with the Cana­ dian forces that he expects to sail for home on the Queen Elizabeth on Dec. 2'2nd. He has been overseas for about four years. Receives Discharge Douglas Pryde, who has been with the R.O.A.F. at Commox, B.C. has received an honorable discharge and has now returned to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Pryde. The reports showed an increase in all depart­ ments for the year. Average attend­ ance was 36 and nearly $80,00 was contributed to the M. & M. fund, and a very substantial increase in the general offerings for the Sun­ day School. A short program of music and readings preceded the address of the guest speaker, Rev. Gordon Weir, of Centralia, who brought a very timely message to Sunday School workers. After a vote of thanks a social hour with lunch was enjoyed. The following officers were elected for the coming year: President, William Welsh; 1st vice- pres., Wm. Pybus; 2nd vice-pres., Mrs. Wes. Witmer; 3rd vice-pres., Rev. c. W. Down; sec.-treas., Hugh Love; assistant, Arthur Rundle. A gift subscription to The Times- Advocate will be appreciated hy youi* friends. We regret to report that Mrs. Blatcliford is confined to her bed the result of a fractured hip. Soldier Drops Dead Three days after he returned London following four years’ service in England and Holland, a London soldier, Fred Davidson, aged 39, dropped dead of a heart seizure at his home, 123 Colborne street. Sur­ viving are his mother, Mrs. George- ina Davidson; five brothers, Thom­ as, Leonard and Vernon, all of Lon­ don; William of Zurich and Charles of Vancouver; three sisters, ?Mrs. Walter Amess, Mrs. William Fen­ wick and Mrs. Norman Dickie, all of London. The funeral was held from the home of his brother Wil­ liam, of Zurich, with service in the Lutheran churchy Zurich, and in­ terment in the Exeter cemetery. Members 'Of the Exeter-Hensall branch of the Canadian Legion were in attendance at the funeral. Wright was host­ ess to a trousseau tea in honor of her daughter, Marion Elizabeth, bride-elect. The guests were receiv­ ed by Marion and her mother as­ sisted by Mrs. Newton Clark.
