The James St. Evening Auxiliary
held their October meeting at the
home of Mrs. Wm. Kernickj. Thames
Road. The president, Miss Stella
Southcott, opened the meeting with
a hymn followed with prayer by
Miss 'Olive Prior. Reports were
read by the secretary, treasurer,
correspondence secretary and the
Red Cross secretary. The program
was conducted by Miss Nellie Car
michael opening with a hymn and
responsive reading. A missionary
hymn was introduced by Mrs. Stur
gis and Miss Verna Coates. The
thank offering collection was re
ceived, followed by the Doxology.
The Study Book was well present
ed by Miss Carmichael. Mrs. Hubert
Jones and Miss May Jones. Prayer
by Miss V. Voates followed by a
quartet by Mrs. H. Sturgis, Kirs. T.
Coates, Mrs. P. McFalls and Verna
Coates. The meetng closed with the
