Layton. Mrs. Robt. Dinney underwent an operation for the removal of her tonsils at Dr. Fletcher’s Hospital Thursday of last week. Cpl. Gordon Cudmore, with the R.C.A.F., at Tor Bay, Newfound­ land, has returned to his home here and is now awaiting his discharge. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Munn, Miss Aileen Munn and Mr. and Mrs. ■Chas. Miller were among the guests at the Hancock-Eacrette wedding in London on Saturday. •Mr. and Mrs. Ray Waghorn, of Hamilton, visited with friends in town the latter part of the week.
