Reeve Hugh Berry of Usborne acted as chairman and in his happy humorous way told many incidents of 501 years ago, in the horse and buggy days. At the con clusion. of the program Mr. Harold O’Brien read a well worded ad dress and Mr. Lee Paul made a ■presentation of a radio to Mr. and Mrs. Williams. On behalf of Mrs. Williams and himself Mr. Williams made' a very fitting reply. Lunch served including the bride's balance of the evening in dancing, also wishing and groom many happy was cake. All members of the congregation are invited to borne along and enjoy an outing with the young people. Let us make it a congregational picnic. The Masonic Order was in at tendance at the evening service in the United Church, on Sunday last. Rev. Trueblood preached a very in spiring and appropriate sermon and Mr. Lawrence Swartz rendered a vocal solo in very fine voice. Decoration Day service was held at the Evangelical Cemetery on Sunday afternoon, The weather" was all that could be desired and a large number gathered to pay tribute to the memory -of departed friends. Rev. Heckendorn, of Zurich, gave a very fine address and musical numbers were given by the Evan gelical male chorus. FO. No. 10 Usborne Lumley school held their school section picnic last Friday evening on the school ground with a good attendance. Owing to the condition of the weather there was no ball game.
