Mr. Heaman was for several years an. employee in the general store then owned by Mr. J. A. Stewart and at that time was an active mem­ ber of the James St. Sunday School and Epworth League. His son had often heard him speak of Street church and in. writing father from overseas where serving with the Canadian he mentioned that one day in one of the latrines he picked up a newspaper and he saw the name James Street church. With his curi­ osity • aroused he .looked at the name of the paper and was sur­ prised to find that it was an old copy of the Exeter Times-Advocate. It gave him quite a thrill to find a paper from his father’s old home town. In relating the story of our townsmen he made mark that is the caption of tide. Prayer was then engaged in with a number of Special prayer requests being made known. Hymn was sung and the meeting dismissed with prayer.
