Bell closed with benediction. A delicious lunch was served by the committee in charge. The next meeting will be held on July 25 at the church when the Mission Band will be entertained. Pym Bewnion The Pym reunion was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Pym last Saturday afternoon with over 6-0 present. Suppex* was served in the township hall where a three- storey birthday cake graced ’ the centre table, it being Mr.- Pym’s SO'th birthday. While seated around the table the business was dealt with. Minutes of last year’s picnic were read and adopted and letter,* were read from some not able to be present. It was decided to have a reunion again next yeax’ and in­ vitations were received from Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Pym and Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Hunter. Mr. Ewart Pym was elected president and Miss Dorothy Hicks secretary-treasurer. The managing committee to be Mr. and Mrs. Will Essery, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Pym and Mr. and Mrs. Al­ vin Pym. Sunday School Anniversary Last Sunday, Sunday School An­ niversary services, were held in this church with good congregations at­ tending. The front of the church was prettily decorated with pink and white peonies. Rev. Trueblood, | of Crediton, preached very fine sermons and the special music was supplied by a Sunday School choir in the morning and the ‘regular choir in the evening. Webber. Arthur has recently returned from active service over seas. He was wounded in action and suffered the loss of an eye and other injuries. The Centralia Sunday School will hold their annual picnic at Grand Bend on Wednesday after­ noon, July 4th. Keep this date in mind and plan to attend. Leaving For New Charge Rev. R. J. Merriam brought his ministry in this church to a close on Sunday morning when he de­ livered a very fine sermon. He and Mrs, Merriam and family will leave this week for their new charge at Putnam, The v.ery best wishes of their friends wilj follow them to their new home.
