Where’s My SHUR-GAIN?
Just hatched, and hasn’t had his first feed yet! He’s looking
around now for a meal, and if lie’s fortunate, he’ll find a
plentiful supply of fresh, palatable, attractive SHUR-GAIN
Chick Starter awaiting him.
Maybe you can fool some of the people some of the time,
but you can’t fool baby chicks., nor can you fool experienced
farmers with low-grade Chick feeds. They know that only
a well-balanced highly-fortified feed will suit the needs of
baby chicks. Baby Chicks must have a feed that tastes good,
that looks good, and that contains low fibre content. That’s
why SHUR-GAIN Chick Starter is so valuable a feed for
chicks. It tastes good because of its absolute freshness and
its variety of ingredients. It looks good to chicks because of
its fine colour and attractive texture. Jt’s most digestible
because of the choice of ingredients incorporated, that can
be properly digested and turned into sturdy growth by
healthy chicks.
Don’t delay-border your supply to-day. You should have a
bag or two on hand for the early first arrivals. Remember—
a good, growthy start now means earlier production from
your pullets in the Fall, when egg prices are highest, and
profits come easier !

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Down, who

Down made many friends, they were
both active workers in the United

Dear Mrs. Down:
We, the members
Association, have learned with re
gret that you expect in the near fu
ture, to leave our community. We
feel that we cannot allow you to
leave without expressing to you our
appreciation of what your presence
has meant to our Association. We
have always found you capable and
willing to help wherever you could
and we are going to find your place
hard to fill. As individuals it has
been an inspiration to. us, to have
been associated with you. While we
regret your move, we know that to
you, it means “going home”, going
back again among familiar sur
roundings and old friends, whom
we realize you must have missed
during your stay here. Lest in your
joy of returning home, you might
be prone to forget friends whom
you have gained in Crediton, we
ask you to accept this gift, hot for
its value, but as a slight remem
brance of our love and appreciation,
Trusting that God’s blessing will
continue to rest upon you and Mr.
t)own.
