Mr. Anthony en deavored to show that the trouble that has arisen at the present time in Canada is largely racial. A good word was spoken on behalf of the French Canadian for their splendid Qualities and that the Anglo-Saxons we’re not altogether blameless for the present strife, 'the remedy for this condition is better understand ing between the two races. The French Canadians have nursed the idea that they were Canada and the Anglo-Saxons the comers-in.
