Hunters Go North The three musketeers, or hunters rolled up their blankets and fire­ arms in readiness for their annual hunting trip to the north country. Mr. H. Berry states that this is his 24th consecutive year to ramble the woods for deer while I. N. Marshall follows with 19 consecu­ tive years to do like-wise. Mr. Herb Foster is just a junior with two years. There other old pal in the person of William Arthur was quite disappointed having been called on the jury at Stratford Monday morn­ ing. But Billie says he isn’t to be cheated out of his holiday as he is joining-the boys the last of the week at South River. Fuller reports will follow. Celebrates Birthday One of our esteemed ladies in the perSon of Miss Elizabeth Shier, celebrated her 84th birthday, Mon­ day, October 30 th, at the home of her sister, Mrs. David Hazlewood, with whom she resides. This past summer, Miss Shier holidayed writh friends in London, Stratford and St. Marys. She rarely misses church service and Sunday School and a short time ago, filled in a vacancy as teacher, taking the ladies adult Bible class. Being very scholastic, she knows her Bible from cover to cover both in history and theory living up to her many ideals. Miss Shier comes from a family of seven children of very longevity, living today but the late Doupe, who died in 1943 age of 90. The ages of the ing six add up to 496, an of 82 2/3. Sisters and brothers of Miss Shier are Mrs. D. Kirk (Sarah) of Marchwell, Sask., Mrs. D.
