Mrs. Kenneth Hockey’s group was in charge of the supper and program. The president Conduc­ ted a sing song during the supper hour. The Daily prayer was repeat­ ed in unison followed by the re­ ports of the various secretaries. A guest speaker, Mrs. G. W. Layton gave a very inspiring talk on “Work” Mis Helen Penhale sang a suitable solo and -presented Mrs. Layton with a card of congratulations, the oc­ casion being their 15 th wedding an­ niversary. Mrs. F. Forester have the residence of Mr. E. recently occupied by Mr. and Mrs. E. R, Hopper. The home has (been repaired and redecorated since the fire a few weeks ago. Mr. Hopper has purchased the residence occupied by Mr. Forrester and is making some improvements before moving in. Miss Alma Skinner, of Usborne, is in receipt of a parcel sent to her by L.Cpl. McAllister which was posted March 24 in Italy and reach­ ed here May 27.
