Mr. Murray Neil, of Crediton, called on friends in Exetei' Friday. Misses Ilene and Etheleen Johns, of London, were home over the week-end. A history in Ilensall is next week. In Italy the Canadian boys with a quota of $2,500,000 have already passed the $4,00 0,000 mark. We expect those fighting men to beat us out in the Battle of Weapons, but are we going to let .them beat us in the Battle of Bonds? Surely not. We civilians are on trial for these three weeks, and unless we can win out in this Bond Battle we do not deserve to have those boys fighting for us overseas. "Wegg, of No 9 S.F.T.S., who has been living in one of Sandy Elliot's .apartments has been posted to Montreal and with Mrs. Wegg left for that place Tuesday.
