Rogers is quite ill at the home of her mother, Mrs. E. Christie. Mr. Jos. Senior returned home last week after visiting for a week ■ in Toronto. Mrs. Gordon Cudmore spent the week-end in London with Mr. and Mrs. B. Dawson. Mr. Harry McAdams, of Zurich, recently underwent an operation in the Listowel Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Aidworth called on friends in St. Marys and , Stratford on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Statham, of London, visited with Mr. and Mrs. John Hind on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Dinney, of London, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Wm, Winer on Sunday. Dr. and Mrs. C. McLagen, of Lon­ don, spent the week-end with Mr, and Mrs, Win, Winer, AC2 Stanley Green, of Toronto, spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Green. Mr. and Mrs. George Geddes re­ turned home 'Friday after an ex­ tended visit in London. Miss Doris Cutting who has had a mild form of scarlet fever is around the house again. Mr. Samson Yelland, who has been employed at Pt. Perry, return­ ed to Exeter last Friday. Mrs. Eugene Beaver spent the week-end in London with her sister- in-law, Mrs. Charles Snell. LAC. and Mrs. Robt. Elliott have returned to Exeter after holidaying for tw-o weeks in Strathroy. Mr. Robt. Horney and daughter, Mary, of London, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Charles day. Mr. and Mrs. Thedford,' visited parents, Mr. and zer. Pte. Earl Frayne, of Camp Borden, spent the week-end at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Frayne. Miss Isabelle Snell, who has spent the last two weeks with Mr. and Mrs. B. Dawson in London has re­ turned home. | Mr. Ed. Willis, who has been con­ fined to the house for the past six weeks was able to be out .for first time Tuesday, Mrs. Wm. Chambers spent week-end in Wingham with Mr. Mrs. Charles Salter. Miss Lois Hunter, who spent past two weeks with her grand­ mother Mrs. Rachel Sims returned to her home in London. Misses Maida Morley and Jessie Finlayson, of Elmira, spent the week-end with the former's parents Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Morley.
