Mill­ er, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Miller, both of Hibbert township, were married at Staffa on January 30, 1889. Directly fol­ lowing their up farming farm, lot 19, they resided when they moved to the village of Staffa. BLOWES DIED IN MITCHELL WillsMrs. Martha O’Breena Blowes, widow of Albert John Blow- es, of Mitchell, who was well known in Exetei’ having resided fox* a time with the late Mrs. Fitton, passed away at her home. Mrs. Blowes .was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Mills and was. born in Mitchell, on May 13, 1873, living here almost her entire life with the exception of the summers which the family spent at Grand Bend. She was married 52 years ago and since the death of her husband in April, 1932, had resided with her chil­ dren. She was a membei’ of Main Street United Church, a life mem­ ber of the Women’s Missionary So- viety and served as president of the Ladies’ Aid. For years she was a membei’ of the United Church choir and during the last war she and her husband lent their servic­ es of song throughout the commun­ ity at patriotic concerts. She made hundreds of calls on the sick and shut-ins. Surviving are three daugh­ ters, Mrs. J. W. Reinhart, Owen Sound; Mrs. I. R. Pearce, Mitchell; and Mrs W H. Fairfax, Brantford; and four sons, A. W., town clerk of Mitchell; J. Howard, Port Elgin; Claude, Hensall, and Stanley, Wind­ sor, formerly with the T.C.A. in London; two sisters, Mrs. Kay Tay­ lor, Buffalo, N.Y., and Mrs. Gabe Morris, Fullarton.
