The first meeting of the New
Year was held at the home of Mrs.
Garnet Flynn. The meeting opened
by singing hymn 697. The 28th
Psalm was then read by Mrs. C.
Simmons followed by the Lord’s
prayer repeated in unison. Business
was then discussed. An interesting
letter from Capt. D. C. Hill now in
Italy was read in which he* asked
to have his kind regards sent to
the people of Caven Church. Mrs.
I Racey then .gave an enjoyable talk
' on the work of the hostess house
at the airport and of the houses
i throughout the country. Mrs. 'Cheno
weth favoured with a delightful
solo which was enjoyed very much.
. Prayer was then led 'by Mrs. Mason
and the meeting closed by singing
“God Save The King”. Lunch was
served by the committee in charge.

But always says: “Send
