James St. W.A. ladips of James St. W-A. held their May meeting Thursday last in the church schoolroom. The pre sident, Mrs. Steiner, presided. The meeting opened by singing hymn 16. Mrs. M. C. Fletcher read the Scrip ture and also a Mother’s Day poem. Instead of the usual picnic at the June meeting the members who can quilt are asked to be at the church at three p.m. and all others who can attend to be there not later than four o’clock and each to bring a small afternoon tea lunch. Mrs. Sturgis sang a solo and Mrs. T. Din ney gave a reading. The meeting closed with the benediction. The meeting was opened by the singing of a hymn followed by prayer by Bonnie Smith. A short business meeting followed. The subject of the wor ship service was “Worship Through Beauty”.
