Killed by Train Near Kingston Word was received here on Sun day of the death of Mrs. Burton Keys, of Parham, near1 Kingston, daughttr-in-law of Mrs. Enoch Park er, of near Hensall, who was killed Sunday morning by a train while crossing the C.P.R. tracks on the ) way to the church to select the hymns to be used at the funeral of a friend. There were no witnesses to the accident. Mr. and Mrs. Keys moved to Parham from Auburn1 about three years ago. Mr. Keys is an employee at the railway station in Tishburn. The deceased was in her 3 8 year and was formerly McNaughton, daughter of Mr. Mrs. McNaughton and the late McNaughton, of Morrison, Guelph. Lewis united in marriage Mary Stevens, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hawkins, of Anderson and Angus C. Robertson, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Robertson, of near I-Iensall. The bride chose a becoming street length dress of Monterey rose sheer with hat and matching accessories. The bride was attended by Mrs, Roy Hawkins and the best man was Mr. Roy Hawkins brother of the bride. Fol lowing a mo-tor trip to Niagara Falls and points east they will reside on the groom’s farm near Hensail. Hensall-Kippen-Zurich War Time Committee Hold Frolic. The Hensall, Kippen and Zurich Wai- Time Service Committee held a frolic on Friday evening which was very well attended in spite of the inclemency of the weather. . The committee in charge of the frolic were Messrs. G. M. Drysdale, Fred Beer and Le Roy O’Brien, of Zurich. The Hensall Citizen’s Band played various selections during the even ing. The United Church ladies ar ranged a home-made candy booth and sold tickets on a chicken which was won by Mr. Frank Peart. Bingo was sponsored by the Legion and the prize of an Indian blanket was won by Mr. Percy Hewitt, foreman on Highway No. 83.
