Funeral from ALEXANDER — CHANDLER St. Andrew’s church, Kippen, dec orated with ferns and summer flow ers. was the scene of a lovely wed ding on Saturday when Helen Mabel, eldest daughter of Rev. and Mrs. E. F. Chandler, was united in marriage to Robert Norman Alexander, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Alex- . ander, of Hensall. This was the 30th wedding anniversary of the bride’s parents. The bride entered the church on the arm of John H. Cochrane, a member of the session, to the strains of the Lohengrin wedding music, played by Miss Jean Ivison, church organist. The charm ing bride wore a floor-length gown of minute sheer, with head band of the same material and white acces sories and carried a bouquet of rap ture roses. The marriage ceremony was performed by the bride’s father. The couple were unattended. The ushers were John Alexander, of Hen sall and John Alexander, of George town, brother and cousin of the groom. Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the manse. A buffet luncheon was served to about 50 guests. Later Mr. and Mrs. Alex ander left on a motor trip to Mani- toulin and Northern Ontario, the bride travelling in blue crepe dress and hat to match, with a biege coat and white accessories. On their re turn they will reside in Hay Town ship near Hehsall. The bride was, before her marriage, a popular high school teacher at Blenheim. She is a graduate of Toronto University.
