Quinn who underwent an operation in St. Joseph’s Hospit­ al, London, is making splendid im­ provement. Mrs. John Chambers and Mrs. N. Baker are visiting for a few days in London with Messrs. -Samuel and Calvert Chambers. Signaller Reg. Last week in our account of the death of the late David Mawhinney we stated that a wreath had been presented by Mr. and Mrs. John Campbell. This should have read Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Campbell. Mr. A. J. -Payne returned Thurs­ day from Victoria Hospital, London, I where he has been since fracturing his leg when kicked by a horse. He is getting along fine and able to be u.D each day.
