Mr. Jamieson gave on Sunday a synopsis of the meet­ ing held there which was very in­ teresting dealing with some of the important issues of the church. A number from here visited the cemetery at Staffa on Sunday when the remains of Mr. Ernest Dinnin was brought from his home in Sea­ forth with interment in f cemetery, after meeting with a ser­ ious accident a few days before. Ernest did not regain consciousness and passed away on Friday morn­ ing. The Red Cross concert put on by the pupils of S.S. No. 8, Hay, Black­ bush, Sharon and Dashwood on Tuesday evening was a decided suc­ cess. Every number was much en­ joyed by the splendid audience and much credit is due to Mr. W. R. Goulding and Mr. D. Gill, the in­ structors, who so ably trained the pupils. Brock gave reports of the convention held in Seaforth. Following this Mrs. R. Batten took charge of the business. It was decid­ ed to hold a Strawberry Supper on July 1st as usual.
