Harvey at­ tended the Annual Convention of the Ontario Horticultural Society in Toronto on Thursday and Friday, Mrs. E. C. Rodway accompanied them to Toronto- and visited with her parents. ONT.* * Leap Year Birthday Celebration Following choir practice Thurs­ day evening of last week the mem­ bers of James .Street choir held a Surprise Leap Year Birthday Party for Mr. Frank Taylor at the home of Mr* and MrS1 Walter Cutbush. LUKER The death took place in hospital at London, Sunday, March 3rd, of Robert Luker, for many years an esteemed resident of Exeter, in his ftOith year. His wife predeceased him about fifteen years. For. a number of years his brother, Wil­ liam, of Centralia,, who is in his 90 th year, has resided with him. The deceased had been ailing for about six weeks and on the Monday be­ fore his death was taken, to hospital. Mr. Chris. Luker, of town, is a cou­ sin. The Gas, on contract to the Dominion Gas Co. for the life of the Well, was connected <to the Gas Company’s pipeline today and the Well is being prepared now for the pumping of OU from same.
