Harding and child, who have been spending the past two months with relatives in London and Exeter left last week for their home in Los Angeles, Calif. Mrs. Harding is a daughter of the late Mr. John Preszcator. Mr. J. Vidt, of the Exeter Locker . Service, spent a few days during the past week in Des Moines, Iowa., where he attended the organization of the .first national convention of locker owners. Mr. Vidt was ap­ pointed to the advisory council for Ontario Mrs. Harold Lee, of Brinsley and Mrs. A. Steeper, of Ailsa Craig, vis­ ited their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Webber recently. Mrs. Webber has been ordered to her bed most of the time since her operation several weeks ago. Her sister, Mrs. Isaac also spent a day with her last week. A number of friends and neigh­ bors of Mrs. McTaggart gathered at her home Friday evening to cele­ brate her birthday. Although a long way passed three score and ten years Mrs. McTaggart is very bright and active and received many con­ gratulations, cards, gifts and beau­ tiful flowers. Carling, Ont., has returned to her home af­ ter visiting for a week with Miss Eva Pearce. Mrs. Basil Preszcator who recent­ ly underwent an operation for ap­ pendicitis in Victoria Hospital, at London, returned home Tuesday.
