Numerous plans are being made for Hallowe’en frolics and entertain­ ments to be held Tuesday evening, the last night in October. Mr. Aquilla Sheere returned to Lansing, Mich., on Tuesday, after recuperating at his home here fol­ lowing a recent operation. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Southcott and Mrs. Jos. P. was held with nearly 60 present. The meeting was in charge of the presi­ dent, Miss V. Decker and was open­ ed with a hymn followed with prayer by Rev. Mr. Page. Roll was called and minutes were read and adopted. Business was discussed and it was decided to hold a crokinole party on November 13th tickets to be sold by the Y. P. After another hymn was sung Margaret Clarke took the chair A hymn was sung after which pray­ er was given by Jean Appleton. We were favored with a solo by Pearl Wood. The Scripture was read by Irene Sweet followed by a short story by Mary Van Camp. The topic on ‘Movies’ was very ably given by Mr. G. Koch. Another hymn was sung followed iby an instrumental by T. Walker, and a reading by Dorothy Traquair. The meeting closed with a hymn and the Mizpah benediction. A contest was enjoyed by all. Mrs. Newbride: “I took the recipe for this cake out of the cook book.” Hubby: “You did perfectly right, dear.
