1— Anyone over 16 years of age, ablebodied and
active, is eligible to enter this campaign, with
the following exceptions:
(a) Anyone connected with the management
of the camgaign cannot enter.
(b) Professional Junk Dealers or anyone con
nected with them are not eligible.
2— Bonus votes on accounts are given according
to the age of the account. The age of an ac
count is the elapsed time from the date of the
last payment. The Bonus votes are given only’
on the amount of money received by the mer
chant.
.3—1 vote will be cast on each one cent on every
purchase. 5 votes will be cast on each one
cent paid on accounts that were opened prior
t<5 the beginning of the campaign.
4— Votes will only be cast on CASH transactions.
5— Votes must be cast at time of transaction.
6— Votes will not be allowed on any wholesale,
government or municipal accounts, or contra
accounts.
7— Campaign Manager has final and absolute
charge of votes and all details governing this
campaign.
8— Anyone directly* connected with the merchants
sponsoring this campaign cannot enter this
campaign and must remain neutral.
9— Merchants and clerks are strictly neutral;
don’t ask their help during the campaign; it
is forbidden.a
10— Soliciting votes in or around the store is
strictly forbidden.
11— Votes are not transferable after they have been
recorded.
12— Campaign Manager reserves the right to dis
qualify’ any’ contestant not complying with the
rules of this campaign.

Mileage votes are given for every mile up to a 25 mile limit. Persons coming
further than 25 miles are allowed the maximum of 25 miles.

Votes are given for the collection of Junk. The net profit
obtained from the sale this year is being given by the Mer
chants equally to the local Lions Club and the Legion. The
junk barn is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. For information
