During the afternoon you will have the opportunity of watching the Ex­ eter Lions Club Juveniles play hard­ ball against a smart London Juven­ ile team. The Exeter boys have been playing consistently good baseball under the management of Jim Bowey and George Evans and will no doubt make a good showing against the city boys. It is rumored that the locals will be strengthened with one or two outstanding players. Another attraction will be the Exeter Soft- ball girls playing the crack Ben- miller team, been beaten gue games, held Forest innings, their managers, expect them to win their game Wednesday afternoon. There will also be a men’s Softball game between Dashwood and Exeter. This will be an exciting contest with heavy hitting and fast baserunning. You will also have the privilege of matching the strong men of Usborne, Stephen and Exeter compete in a tug-of-war contest. Picnic The annual picnic of the Exeter , Women’s Institute was held Tuesday afternoon in Riverview Park with about 25 present including the fam­ ilies of the members. Before the pic­ nic several items of business came up for discussion. Sports, contests and races were keenly contested and enjoyed. After the sports all sat down to a real picnic supper.
