Bring your favorite dish and enjoy a variety of food and a social time. The cooks are on holidays over Christmas and meals return Jan. 10th. Poor weather was a factor in the very small crowd of card players for the Saturday afternoon euchre. There were only three tables of players. Winners were: first, Norm and Helen Dobson, 75; second, Doug and Ann Hugill, 68; third, Charlie Shaw and John Pollard, 66; low, Glenn and Jean Bridge, 48; lone hands, Viola Adams and Ruth Sharpin, two. The Christmas meat draws with wings, fries and chili had a nice bunch of folks enjoy the time at the Branch. The event was held upstairs so the kitchen help could enjoy the music provided by Lisa Glanville and Steve Marks. The nearly 50 folks enjoyed the food and many went home with a prize of some kind. Comrades Jo-Ann, Judy Lee and Linda Bird handled the evening. The Sunday night dance was cancelled due to the nasty weather. Dances will return in the new year on Jan. 12. We welcome B.J. Hummel as the new part-time bartender. Drop in and meet B.J. sometime over the Christmas season. A reminder that the Branch will be closed Dec. 25, 26, 27 and Jan. 1.
