“My perfect holiday morning would
be making a snowman with my
two little brothers in the backyard.
We wouldn’t need help from
my mom and dad. If the snow
got too heavy, we would put it on
the sled and pull it like we did
before.”
Madison Lee
“The perfect holiday day for me
will be waking up on my brother’s
second birthday. That will be New
Year’s Day. He will be two years old
then. We are going to give him
presents and have cake and a lot of
stuff for his birthday.”
Helen Lindsay
“Christmas would be my perfect
morning because I would get to open
presents. I like presents and I hope I
get Nerf guns.”
Caden Mason
“When my mommy gives
me a warm drink and a perfect
breakfast, that’s my perfect day. I
like French toast with butter and
syrup, so she would make that for
me.”
Amber Shannon
“I would go snowmobiling with
my dad if I could choose what we do
over the holidays. We go down the
road and stuff, then we go on the
railroad tracks.”
Bryce Shortreed

time.”
Bridget M.
“I like gingerbread cookies. If you
want to make gingerbread cookies,
you have to stir in the gingerbread
mix until it’s gingerbread dough.
Then you put it in the oven until it’s
cooked and then you cut them and
decorate them with candy. Then you
get to eat them.”
Sarah M.
“I like Santa cookies. They
taste like chocolate chip with
caramel on the top. My mommy
hasn’t told me how to make
them yet. My sister knows, but shewon’t tell me how. They’re good.”Lexus N.
“I like chocolate chip cookies. I
forget how to make them though.
My mom has recipe books and it
says you put in sugar, vinegar, salt,
more sugar and chocolate and then
you mix it really good, but I forget
the rest.
Ryder R.
“I like chocolate chip cookies. I
get them at the store though, I don’t
make them. I would probably just
get them at the grocery store in
Wingham. They make the best
chocolate chip cookies.”
Annika S.
“I like chocolate chip cookies. Idon’t now how you make them, but Iknow you need a list. You read it, put
the ingredients in the bowl and then
get Mom or Dad to read the
rest of the list because they know
how to.”
Leah S.
“I like chocolate chip cookies.
If you have to make them, you
get a bowl and add all the
stuff that you need. You put in
the chips and the flour and then
you put them in a blender then
you spread them on a trey then
you cook them until dinner time.
Then you take them out and eat
them.”
Sophia V.
Family dominates mornings
That doesn’t go there
Owen Mulvey, left, must have got a little too excited about his chocolate milk and over-shot the
runway. Mulvey, along with companions Triston Piper, centre, and Wade Baillie, got to enjoy a
great meal last Thursday as North Woods Elementary School held its annual Christmas lunch.
