Mrs. Ireland’s Grade 1 Class at Hullett Central Public School has some great ideas about how they’re going to spend their holiday mornings. From the last day of school to Christmas morning, they have planned some great activities. “My perfect holiday morning would be Christmas and waking up with tonnes of presents under the Christmas tree. I want to open the presents with my parents and get a Skylanders Swamp Force.” Jake Cullen “My favourite holiday morning would start with cereal for breakfast with sugar on it. Then I would play a dirt biking video game with my brother all day.” Kaeden MacDonald “I would go and play outside if I had my perfect holiday morning. I would play with Nyla. She is my neighbour in my backyard. We would have a snowball fight and build a snowman.” Alana Stewart “If I could do whatever I wanted on my holidays I would go to my Grandma’s house and we would go to the Wingham pool. Then we would watch movies at a theatre. We would watch Frozen this year.” Shawn Wijnsma “I would open presents on Christmas. That would be my perfect holiday morning. Then I would play on my iPod and then I would have a huge waffle for breakfast with syrup and chocolate on top.” Carson Beauchamp “When it’s Christmas morning, that’s my perfect holiday morning. I get to open up my presents and play with all the toys that I got. They make me smile a lot.” Olivia Decker “I would like to go snowmobiling at my Grandma’s house if I could pick what to do a holiday morning. First I would get warm clothes on and then we would build jumps to go over on the snowmobile.” Caitlyn Bauer “If I could pick what to do for a holiday morning I would drive the snowmobile. It’s my big brother’s and mine. We put on helmets first and sometimes I drive with him, sometimes I don’t drive with him.” Kalya Cowan “If I could do what I wanted on a holiday, I would probably go outside and drive Grandpa’s snowmobile. He lives out in the country so there is a lot of space to do it. It’s mostly me and my brother that drive on it.” Connor Dale “My perfect holiday morning would be Christmas and the house would overflow with presents. All of the presents would have money, money and more money in them.” Cassie Elliott “I would get all my winter stuff on and go outside and make a snowman. I would have a carrot for his nose, rocks for his eyes and a stick for his mouth. I would put Santa’s clothes on him.” Sophia Greydanus Hullett students plan perfect Christmas mornings Making the most of it With holidays fast approaching, students in Mrs. Ireland’s Grade 1/2 class at Hullett Central Public School certainly have a good idea of how to spend their vacation.
